Dale Levandier
Dale Levandier is a retired “Space Chemistry” research scientist whose career included affiliations with the Boston College Institute for Scientific Research and the Air Force Research Lab. Dale and Frances Markel moved to the Spectacle Pond neighborhood in June of 2019, when the striking property of longtime residents Bev and Ken Schultz became available. Originally from rural Nova Scotia, Dale delights in the outdoors, and enjoys walks with Frances around the western end of the pond in all seasons, as well as on other trails in the area (not to mention trails in iconic places like the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, and Iceland). Soon after settling in the Spec Pond area, Dale became involved with the Spec Pond Association, and more recently has engaged with local environmentalist groups such as PACE (People of Ayer Concerned about the Environment) and Eco-Nuclear Solutions, an advocacy group for carbon-free nuclear energy.
