Larry attended the organizational meeting of SPA, volunteering to be a member of the ‘Weeds’ committee and with other members helped launch a weed control feasibility study, which eventually evolved into our ongoing weed monitoring and mitigation efforts.  During his continuous years of membership, he served in all of the officer roles at one time or another, mostly as secretary and as treasurer.  Larry enjoys visits from his family and friends at the pond and in Old Orchard Beach during the summers, then retreats to Naples, FL during the colder months, enjoying the warmth, beaches, and biking and where he is an avid pickleball player.
